NaKeesa Marie is a writer, entrepreneur, Self-Care Strategist, and founder of NaKeesa Marie Enterprises™, a Tacoma, Washington-based business centered on helping people develop consistent and sustainable self-care practices.

She is the creator of the Gentle Accountability guided journal series, with resources created for kids, teens, and adults. While her broader work encourages self-care across generations and identities, NaKeesa intentionally centers Black women—who are so often expected to care for families, workplaces, and communities while receiving far less care in return.

Through her books, writing, speaking, workshops, community conversations, and other creative work, NaKeesa advocates for self-care that is consistent, accessible, compassionate, and supported by community care. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: gentle accountability is an act of self-love.
